It concentrates dilute sludge with a moisture content of 95%-99.5% into sludge cakes of 70%-85% through spiral extrusion and stacked disc filtration, realizing sludge volume reduction and stabilization. Adopting a modular design, the main unit consists of the overlapping screw body and drive system. The frame and stacked discs are made of 304/316L stainless steel with excellent corrosion and wear resistance. Customizable processing capacity ranges from 0.5 to 50m³/h with large, medium and small series available. It only occupies 1/3 the floor space of traditional filter presses. Featuring fully automatic operation and non-clogging performance, it serves a service life of 10-15 years and is the preferred choice for small and medium-sized Wastewater stations and industrial wastewater plants.
Working Principle of Overlapping Screw Sludge Dewatering Machine
It operates based on three core functions: flocculation reaction + gravity concentration + spiral extrusion, adopting pure physical separation without secondary pollution. Sludge enters the exclusive flocculation tank and mixes with chemicals to form dense flocs. Then it flows into the concentration section to discharge free water by gravity and greatly increase sludge concentration. Finally, the spiral shaft pushes sludge into the dewatering section. Gradually increasing extrusion pressure and disc gaps squeeze out capillary water to form uniform sludge cakes. The floating ring self-cleaning design completely solves the clogging problem of traditional equipment.
