  Working principle of self-cleaning filter

  DIEN's self-cleaning filter adopts a closed-loop working mode of "filtration-differential pressure trigger-automatic cleaning-reset operation", which realizes automatic control throughout the process without manual intervention.Its core workflow is as follows: First, the raw water enters the equipment body through the inlet, and the pre-coarse filter assembly intercepts large particles of impurities (such as sand, gravel, debris, etc.) with a particle size ≥1mm to avoid clogging the filter element caused by entering the fine filter unit; then, the pretreated raw water enters the fine filter area, and through the retention of high-precision filters, impurities such as suspended solids, colloids, and fine particles in the water are removed, and the filtered clean water is discharged through the outlet and enters the subsequent water system or water treatment unit.As the filtration process continues, the impurities trapped on the surface of the filter continue to accumulate, resulting in the formation of a pressure difference inside and outside the filter. When the pressure difference reaches a preset threshold value (normally set to 0.05-0.1MPa), or reaches the PLC preset timing cleaning time, the equipment automatically starts the cleaning procedure.During the cleaning stage, the sewage valve is automatically opened, and the impurities attached to the inside of the filter are completely peeled off by rotating the suction nozzle with hydraulic drive or scraping with a motor-driven brush. The impurities are discharged from the equipment with the sewage flow. The entire cleaning process takes 10-60 seconds, and the equipment maintains normal water output during the cleaning period without interrupting the system operation.After the cleaning is completed, the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the filter is restored to the normal range, the sewage valve is closed, the equipment is automatically reset, and the next round of filtration cycle is entered.

  The standardized process flow of self-cleaning filters can be divided into five core stages. The process is closed-loop and efficient, and fully complies with national and local water treatment standards: 1. Pretreatment of water inlet: raw water is transported through the pipeline to the inlet of the filter, and the interception of large particles of impurities is completed through the coarse filter assembly to avoid impurities entering the fine filter unit; 2. Precision filtration: The pretreated raw water enters the fine filtration area, intercepts fine impurities through a high-precision filter, and the clean water is discharged from the outlet through the filter and enters the follow-up system; 3. Cleaning trigger: Impurities accumulate on the surface of the filter, the pressure difference inside and outside the filter reaches a preset value or reaches a timed time, and the PLC control system automatically triggers the cleaning command; 4. Automatic cleaning: the sewage valve is opened, the cleaning mechanism (nozzle or brush) is activated, and the impurities on the surface of the filter are peeled off. The impurities are discharged with the sewage flow, and the water is not interrupted during cleaning; 5. Reset operation: After the cleaning is completed, the pressure difference of the filter screen returns to normal, the sewage valve is closed, the equipment stops cleaning, returns to the normal filtration state, and enters the next cycle.The entire process does not require manual intervention, and can be tested by a third-party testing agency to ensure that the water quality of the effluent meets relevant standards and meets the water requirements of various industries.
